Agent Access Permissions were added to the Dashboard for Policy Automated Forms.

Changes that were made:

The Automated SOI was rolled out in early 2024 to improve the previous Official SOI process and remove the need for AIPs to manually generate SOIs for agencies. The Automated SOI process employed a batch process, which automatically picked up policies that met the requirements for an SOI to process and then held in a batch until the Automated SOI job was run to generate collected policies in a batch PDF by Agency Code.

The Automated SOI batch PDFs were retrieved from the Policy Automated Forms tab under Tools > Dashboard > MPCI Dashboard. Within the Policy Automated Forms tab, users viewed notifications for themselves, all employees, or a different individual employee. Prior to this ticket's change, the visibility of this tab was controlled by the same system function as the Print Queue (Policy > Print Queue > Read); so, if a user had access to the Print Queue, they also saw this tab. Since the Print Queue permission was usually only assigned to company roles, agent users couldn't view this tab. AIPs have requested that Agent users had read-only access to the Print Queue. To accommodate this, we created a new system function to control all access to the Policy Automated Forms tab. This update added the ability for AIPs to tailor views for different Agent users while not impacting the existing Print Queue system function and involved the following changes:

NOTE: NOTE: The user assigned this new system function must have been associated with an Agent account and Primary Agency in their user profile. Without this association, the System Function couldn't grant access to batches because batches were divided up by agency code.

Removed access to the Policy Automated Forms tab (Tools > Dashboard > MPCI Dashboard) from the Policy>Print Queue > “Read” System Function.

NOTE: NOTE: The Policy > Print Queue System Function was not removed as it granted users the ability to view Tools > Dashboard > Print Queue.

Created a new system function, “Policy Automated Forms Dashboard”, with the following rights:

Read: A user granted “Read” rights can see the Policy Automated Forms tab under Tools > Dashboard > MPCI Dashboard and see all batch files for their agency/agent associations.

The dropdown for “View Policy Automated Forms for” was restricted to the “–Current User—” option only. The Go button was disabled since additional view options were not available with this right. Additionally, selection checkboxes were not visible next to each file, the hyperlink was disabled and only file names were shown, and the Download buttons were disabled. This right was true read-only access for this tab.

Print: A user granted “Print” rights can see the Policy Automated Forms tab, access all batch files for the agency assigned to them, and then also down the batch PDF (individually or via batch selection and the download button). Print essentially gives the user “Read” access and the ability to download files. The “Read” right is also not needed if “Print is assigned”.

NOTE: NOTE: CIS/UWs were still able to see all available options in the “View Policy Automated Forms for” dropdown (“--Current User--”, “---All Employees--”, and all individually listed CIS/UW). The CIS/UW permission needed to view this tab was related to the user permission: Policy > MPCI Coverage > “CIS/UW”. So, if a logged in user had that permission, they were able to access Policy Automated Forms tab and use the dropdown/buttons.

This request added ECO/SCO fields to the Main App. These fields printed regardless of whether ECO/SCO was elected on the coverage(s) on all print types. On the PreFilled version, the fields populated based on fields in the UI.
