Release Notes 5.120.0

It was found during 5.115 testing of the APH Database and Acreage Reporting Form that the separate fields for Authorized Rep and Power of Attorney (POA) were not removed and replaced with an Assignment of Indemnity (AOI) field. With this ticket, the separate POA and Authorized Rep fields were removed in the Signature Authorization section. Also, an Assignment of Indemnity field was added in the header to be consistent with other acreage reporting forms. These updates are applicable for all Crop Years. The APH Database and Acreage Reporting Form is available to print from within individual MPCI policies on the Print tab and from Tools > Batch Printing.

Previously, the Skip Row Factored Approved Yield was printing for Cotton units on the Production Report. The un-Skip Row Factored Approved Yield should have been printing. The Production Report was updated to print the un-Skip Row Factored Approved Yield. The APH Database Form, APH Database and Acreage Reporting Form, Production Reporting Worksheet, and Production Report / Acreage Report are now all printing the un-Skip Row Factored Approved Yield.

Acreage Report: This ticket updated the Acreage Report's "Include CLU section" print option default setting to be based on the AIP's System Preference. This print option was implemented with TFS #37973 in April 2016; however, the default for the print option was not selected. The Acreage Report can be printed from the Print tab within individual MPCI policies or from Tools > Batch Printing.

On the Acreage Report, the sort order for the Crop Summary, Detail Line, and Premium Summary was updated to match the Fast Edit page. These updates are applicable for all Crop Years. The Acreage Report is available to print from within individual MPCI policies on the Print tab and from Tools > Batch Printing.

The Unprocessed Area Plan Production report (Reports > MPCI Reporting > Unprocessed Reports > Area Plan Production) has been updated to exclude duplicated detail lines. The report will include records for each unit similar to the Fast Edit PR page.

To help with meeting the acreage reporting requirement of printing acres by field, the Supplemental Land Worksheet / Page was updated to print the acres by field. The updates apply to all years. The Supplemental Land Worksheet / Page is currently available to print with the following forms:

2018 Roll: The RMA revised the Annual Forage policy for the 2018 RY, which required changes to the roll. Details of the roll changes were covered in the All AIP MPCI/RMA product update call on 5/2/17. The RMA has also released a 2018 whitepaper that discusses the consolidated SCD (2 SCDs in 2017 have been consolidated to a single SCD of 7/15 for 2018). In addition, 2018 will be based on 4 Acreage Reporting Dates and 4 growing seasons (versus 2 acreage reporting dates and 2 growing seasons in 2017).

Roll changes made:

Agency Extracts: Private Product Agency Extracts were added to the Agency Extract in 2016, and TFS #69068 in the 5.115.0 Release provided updated changes to the records included for the Private Product Agency Extract. This ticket applied the extract formula to the 2015 RY.

Coverage: System logic was updated to account for changes made to the 2017 SPOKANE RO Bulletin for RYAF Factors and RYAF Charts.

Coverage: During internal testing, a bug was found with the Added County functionality. On the Add New Added County Coverage page, a hard error existed to prevent the user from entering signature dates that were on or before the Sales Closing Date. The bug found was that this error message was not always being received when the signature dates were on or before the Sales Closing Date. The logic that determines when this error message triggers has been updated, and the error will now display anytime the signature dates are on or before the Sales Closing Date.

APH: Per the 2017 Crop Insurance Handbook, YE is applicable to the A, AY, NA, PA, DA, NW, PW, WY, R, PR, NR, RY, BF, and AC yield types. A bug was reported where the System was not allowing YE to be applied to annual years in the APH with yield types of DA or PR. After development review, it was determined that the System was allowing YE for these yield types but only for Category C crops.

In addition, during internal testing, it was identified that the System was not retaining certain yield types when YA applies. These yield types include DA, DG, DV, GW, GX, PG, PV, PR, R, VW, and VX. This bug has also been resolved as part of this ticket.

The YE logic has been updated to allow YE on DA and PR yield types regardless of if the crop is Category C or not. In addition, the YA logic has been updated so the System will retain the applicable yield type of DA, DG, DV, GW, GX, PG, PV, PR, R, VW, or VX when YA applies.

Fast Edit PR: A bug was identified with the Shareholder link on the Fast Edit PR page. When no shareholders exist, the System should display the link with "Add" as the label. When one or more shareholders exist, the link displays as the shareholder(s) name(s).

The bug identified was that when no shareholders existed and the user selected to add new shareholder, after shareholders were selected and the shareholder popup was closed, the shareholder link disappeared from the Fast Edit PR grid. The Fast Edit PR page was updated to continue to display the Shareholder link after shareholders are added.

Fast Edit AR: During QA testing of Fast Edit AR, it was found that a validation edit around the Storage (ST) option for potatoes was missing from Fast Edit AR. This validation exists on the Maintain Detail Line page and triggers when the ST option is applied to the coverage but has not been selected on the detail line. The intention of this validation is to remind the user that they did not select to apply ST to the detail line (to ensure this was intentional and not by mistake) since ST is typically selected on the detail line when it’s elected on the coverage.

The Storage Option (ST) validation has been added to Fast Edit AR. This validation will be a warning only and will trigger when validate or save is selected on the Fast Edit AR page and the ST option is applied to the coverage but has not been selected on the detail line.

Fast Edit AR: During QA testing of Fast Edit AR, it was found that a validation edit around the Processing Quality (PR) Option for Potatoes was missing from Fast Edit AR. This validation exists on the Maintain Detail Line page and triggers when the PR option is selected on the detail line but one of the quality options, either QA, QB, QC, or QD, has not been selected in addition to the PR option. Procedures for the PR option require either QA, QB, QC, or QD to be selected in conjunction with PR so this validation is a hard stop error.

The Processing Quality (PR) validation has been added to Fast Edit AR. This validation will be a hard stop error and will trigger on the Fast Edit AR page when the PR option has been selected on the detail line but QA, QB, QC or QD has not been selected.

CLU Grid: A bug was identified with the CLU grid when no Plant Date was keyed initially but then the user returned to the CLU grid and attempted to key a Plant Date. Currently, when a CLU is selected and acres are keyed but no Plant Date exists, on save, the System displays a message stating a Prevented Planting (PP) status will be applied. If the user selects OK, the PP status will be applied; if the user selects Cancel, the System will still save the CLU selection and acres but will not apply the PP status. This is all working correctly.

The bug found occurred when the user tried to apply a Plant Date to the CLU after it had already been saved without a Plant Date. If the Plant Date was not keyed in a very specific format (MM/DD/YYYY), the System was not recognizing that a Plant Date had been keyed and on save, the message stating that a PP status will be applied continued to display.

With this ticket, the CLU grid was updated to recognize various Plant Date formats so that the message stating "a PP status will be applied" no longer displays when a Plant Date does actually exist.

NOTE: This issue was affecting the CLU grid regardless of where it was launched from. The Land ID popup/CLU grid can be launched from the following places: Detail Lines tab, Add New Detail Line page, Maintain Detail Line page, Add New APH page, Maintain APH page, Fast Edit PR, and Fast Edit AR.

Detail Lines: An issue was identified by MCT while doing internal testing. When using the Copy Detail Line tool available from the Additional Functions dropdown on the Detail Lines tab of an MPCI policy, the System only allowed the user to enter the share to two digits after the decimal. Users should have the ability to key up to 3 digits after the decimal. The Share field within the Copy Detail Line popup has been corrected to allow users to enter up to three digits after the decimal (e.g., 0.XXX).
